Wouldn't it be fun to spend an entire week playing and improving on a sport that you love like soccer, basketball, volleyball and more? Imagine spending a week with an energetic staff and other campers ages 5-13 doing just that. That’s what YMCA Sports Camps are all about. We are planning some great half-day camps! The Downtown & Yorktown YMCA are offering weekly themed camps lasting 3 hours M-F. (5-8 yr old 9am-12pm and 9-13yr 1pm-4pm). Each week will involve the basic skills, games rules and strategies of the sport(s) that are being targeted that spcific week. Campers will also participate in "field trips" each week that coincide with the sport(s) of the week. Campers have the option of signing up for a full day of activities for an additional charge. Nominal fees may be assessed for field trips for non-full day participants. Full day option kids may be dropped off as early as 8am and picked up as late as 6pm.
